Prof. Sanjay Lodha (Director [I/C]), former Professor of Political Science, Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. He served as MHRD-GIAN Programme Local Coordinator; Director IDEA Centre; Director UGC Nehru Studies Centre; Director Human Rights and Duties Center; Director, Competitive Examination Coaching Center; Fulbright Campus Representative; Head, Department of Political Science and Economics; Dean, Post-Graduate Studies; Chairman, Faculty of Social Sciences; Member, Governing Board, IDS, Jaipur.  Long been associated with confidential work at the RPSC, UPSC, UGC, NTA, Government of Rajasthan. 

His area of specialization is State Politics, Electoral Studies, Democratic Processes and Outcome, Governance and Development issues, Diaspora Studies, International Relations and Indian Foreign Policy.

He guided 25 research scholars for their doctoral degree and at present 3 research scholars are pursuing research. Guided 5 Post-doctoral researches and 1 working at present. Completed many researches and writing projects for UGC, ICSSR, NUEPA, MORD, SIERT, NCERT, Azim Premji University, DFID (UK), UNDP, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation.

He authored, co-authored, edited and contributed to a number of books published by Sage, Oxford, Routledge and Orient Blackswan. Research papers have been published in many prestigious journals and newspapers including Economic and Political Weekly, Indian Express, Rajasthan Partika, The Hindu, Outlook, The Week etc
